Please note that at this time we are only offering electrical upgrades/additions to models with the Battleborn battery based system. We will be working on curating upgrade options for the Lithionics based system and will keep you updated as progress is made.
Epoch Lithium Batteries
Replace the factory Battleborn battery with 2x Epoch lithium batteries. Taking your house battery supply from 270ah to a whopping 920ah. We believe the Epoch batteries to be a better option overall because we can fit more power in the same space with a better bang for your buck! This is why we have opted to fully replace the factory house batteries than add on more of the same to the system.
Upgraded Solar
Much like we have done with the Winnebago Ekko, we have the capability to give you way more Solar power! Paired with the panels will be a new Victron Energy MPPT SmartSolar Controller that will store and disburse the solar energy to maintain the optimal charge to your system.
Zeus Secondary Alternator
The Open Trail does NOT come with a secondary alternator. We install the Zeus alternator to stay compliant with Mercedes upfitter standards when it comes to charging at idle and to maximize charging while under way.
3000kva Inverter/Charger
The quickest way to increase your charging speed is with the Victron Energy Multiplus 3000. With extra batteries and upgraded means of charging, it is important to include a smarter, faster charge delivery system to your new set up! The Victron inverter charges at 120amps, 60% faster than the competition! This means less running of your generator and more quiet nights.
Upgraded Control & Monitoring
With the Victron Energy Cerbo GX and Optional GX Touch you will have an easier way to monitor and control your electrical system! The Cerbo GX is the device that allows you to access your system and control it from anywhere via Victron Remote Monitoring (VRM) or GX Touch screen. You will be able to monitor and control battery charge levels, power consumption, temperature measures, shore power input, power harvest, and more! Also be able to change your electrical setting with ease and run diagnostic checks wherever you are.
