Boondocking Power in a Box
Made in house at FVG by our electrical specialists! This unit is Victron Energy based and includes everything needed to be a 100% self sustaining system. It is built to charge via solar and alternator, not just shore power, meaning your system will always be charging, you do not need to plug up in order to power your electrical system. You can choose the amount of power you need as the system is mean to support between 200-1000 ah. This larger system is meant for those of you who are planning to camp off grid for days at a time, have large power needs (running multiple appliances in your rig), or both!
Drop In Ready
The drop in ready system comes premade and contained within our prefabricated box that will be placed over the driver side wheel well. Best fit for this option:
Customers who are bringing their rig in for us to install. This is our typical set up for this unit and will most likely be in your rig!
Customers who want to DIY their van, but not their electrical system. The drop in option is truly that, and is simple for the DIYer to plug and play with their van.
DIY Configuration
The DIY Kit comes with all the components needed to build our own Power in a Box, without the box. There is no difference in the parts used in the different kits. Best fit for this option:
Customers who want to completely DIY their electrical system. If you want to customize your electrical layout, but don’t want to spend the time individually purchasing an entire system’s worth of parts, this kit is perfect for you!
Power/ Battery Options
The amount of batteries you include in your system will be determined by the amount of output you plan on using. Victron batteries are 200ah each. Choose between 200-800ah depending on your electrical needs. The most common option in our rigs is 400ah.
