Backwoods Adventure Mods Front Bumper
The classic front bumper from Backwoods Adventure Mods offers a very rough and rugged look to your van. This bumper has a more aggressive style than the others and offers features such as winch location, shackle mounts, cubbies for Diode Dynamics 3″ light pods, and full DEF tank protection. Available with or without bull bar.
Backwoods Adventure Mods Scout Bumper
New from Backwoods is their low-pro Scout Front Bumper! The stealth design is perfect for people looking for high quality protection but a sleeker look for the front of their van. Although it is smaller there is still plenty of space for Warn winch, shackles, and lights. Available with or without bull bar option.
Suspension
Give yourself a more comfortable ride! An upgraded suspension is great whether you want to stay on the pavement or hit the trails. Your road ride will be smoother with less impact from bumps and uneven roads and when you hit the dirt, your suspension will be more capable to withstand the impact of the trails. The Van Compass TOPO 2.0 Lift and Suspension is the best option on the market to smoothen your Ekko ride! Add on the 6000lbs Leaf Springs and you’ll have a perfectly rounded out suspension system.
Van Compass Stage 2 TOPO 2.0 Lift and Suspension
Our go to suspension kit for Winnebago Ekkos! The Stage 2 Topo 2.0 Lift and Suspension kit is the an all inclusive system upgrade with replacement rear shocks, front coil springs, and a true 2″ overall lift.
Van Compass Opti-Rate Leaf Springs
For your Ekko, Opti-Rate Leaf Springs are the way to go! These are top of the line, adjustable leaf springs to fine tune based on your weight and preferred height. These are essential once you add on aftermarket upgrades so your suspension can keep up with the increased weight without sacrificing ride quality.
When lifting a van, preserving the geometry and cycle ranges of all the moving components is an important step. These Transit extended sway bar links work well with the OE sway bar to maintain sway bar geometry when lifting a van 2″ with the Topo lift kit.
Van Compass Adjustable High Clearance Lower Control Arm
When Ford designed the front end of the Transit, they had fleet work in mind. It’s a simple front suspension layout, and aside from the toe setting, there is no adjustment. The adjustable lower control arm solves this oversight from Ford by adding a simple to use cam bolt set the camber into specification easily on either side of the vehicle.

Van Compass Skid Plates
Protect the underbelly of your Ekko! It is crucial to have skid plates under your rig because the last thing you need is to bust your van’s essential parts & pieces trying to enjoy your adventure. Make sure to keep your rig protected with Van Compass Skid Plates such as the intercooler skid plate and the differential skid plate!
Transfer Flow’s Transit specific 45 gallon extended fuel tank is an Ekko must have! With this beast of a tank you don’t need to plan your trips around where the next/ closest gas station might be. Go further for longer and have peace of mind that you’re still fueled up even while off-grid!
Wheels & Tires
Elevate the look and feel of your Ekko with new wheels and tires! Method Race Wheels MR-901 Dually Transit wheels are the perfect upgrade. They are meant to be capable while hitting the trails and will give your rig a rugged, off-road look! For tires, opt for some beefier, capable options such as Flaken Wildpeaks, BFgoodrich KO2’s, or Toyo Open Country’s (all of which we install, use, and love!)
Air System Options
It is important to have an on-board air solution! Whether you get a tire leak on the road, new to air down before hitting a trail, or need an easy way to inflate a paddle board before hitting the water, having an air system will save you precious time! Add on accessories like the ARB digital inflator, ARB digital deflator, and the Rhino USA tire repair kit, and you’re ready to roll!
On-board air is the most important start to your air system journey! The ARB twin air compressor is the smallest yet most powerful option on the market! Capable of all off road air needs and for inflating any necessary gear on your adventure!
The Ekko air compressor mount is the easiest way to mount your ARB on-board twin air compressor to your Transit Ekko! This mounts easily under your rig next to your spare tire.
Apex Compact Reel System
The Apex compact reel system has become one of our favorite tools for not just Ekkos, but all rigs! The reel is tiny but mighty, extending 35′ and capable of reaching the furthest point of your van. Hook it up to your compressor for quick and easy access to your air!
Interior Accessories
Make your Ekko feel like home! We sell and install various interior gear that will upgrade the look and feel of your Ekko interior. With brands like Inhabit, Scheelman, and Vanmade Gear there are plenty of options to add a little bit more comfort to your rig!
Inhabit Floor Mats
This full floor mat set comes with sections to fit the cab, interior floor space, stairs, and sleep space. Inhabit mats are durable and weather proof for easy cleaning and less worry when you bring your adventure inside with you. Other benefits include sound absorption, thermal insulation, waterproofing, and cushioning.
Vanmade Gear Window Covers
Keep it cool and maintain your privacy with Vanmade Gear window covers. We offer the full set up so every window has a shade. The Ekko kit includes shades for the sleep area, dinette, and kitchen. We sell separately the windshield cover and driver and passenger door shades. Also in the VMG Ekko line up is the roof vent cover and the essential door screen!
Scheelman Seats
Replace those front seats with something more comfortable! Scheelman seat are the way to go for your Ekko for a better experience on those long haul road trips. Scheelman comes with multiple options you can add on like seat color, leather or cloth, add a swivel, even add heated seats
Let’s face it, we need all the storage space we can get! While the Ekko offers much more space for your items than a regular van, it never hurts to have an easy place to store smaller items. Check out our universal MOLLE panels that will fit anywhere you need them to! We also create the Ekko MOLLE panel specifically for the space above to small cabinet near the dinette area.
It never hurts to have more air flow! Sirocco fans are small but powerful and will help keep you cool and help air circulate in the rig. We prefer to put these fans in the bedroom area for comfortable sleeping, but feel free to put them wherever makes sense for your Ekko lifestyle!
Arctic Tern Door Window
First things first, remove that extra screen door and replace it with the wayyy easier VanMade Gear Ekko door shade! Once that’s taken care of, it is easy to add on an Arctic Tern window to your Ekko door! These are install only, so please contact us for details.
Timberline Hydronic Heating Conversion
NEW from Timberline is their propane – gas heating conversion upgrade. Instead of needing to worry about propane to run your Ekko’s heater, you can instead hook it up directly to your tank (much like an Espar heater). This takes away the need to monitor your propane tank and also takes away the worry of possibly running out and where to get more from if you’re off grid!
